Turn key systems, turnkey systems
Many production automation requirements are best served by proprietary machines interfaced together and often with some handling equipment between machines. Manning is minimised by the inter-machine handling automation, so reducing production costs. Also the user benefits in several ways from using proprietary equipment; proven technology, ready availability of spares and sometimes operator and maintenance familiarity.
CPR Automation has installed numerous such "Turn Key Systems", involving very diverse processes and controls techniques. The principal machines may be specified by our customer, by ourselves or may evolve from technical and commercial discussions between us. Handling equipment is optimised for the products and processes concerned. The system control is created to meet the specific needs and may include two way communications with the customer's host process / materials computer system.
