Assembly conveyors, pallet transfer conveyor, specific assembly conveyors

For multi station applications, pallet transfer conveyor systems provide great accuracy and versatility. CPR Automation supplies modular systems using twin flat belts to provide free flow of assembly pallets between sequential manual or automated work stations.

Standard pallets are available from 100mm to 400mm in various square or oblong formats. Larger pallets can be accommodated as specials. All have positive location features for accurate positioning in X, Y and Z and can be specially tooled for specific assembly needs.

Although normally configured as a re-circulating rectangular format, the conveyor track can be arranged in many ways with right angle corners or as an over / under system. Pallets are driven round corners by the belts themselves without the need for extra cylinders, sensors or other devices. This means minimal installation cost, simple controls, reduced routine maintenance costs and very little down time.

There are many standard components to make a truly versatile system including pallet locators, diverters to direct pallets along a different route and units to turn pallets 90 or 180 degrees. Simply binary flags can be added to pallets to for instance record an assembly process as a pass or fail.
