Do you use O-rings in the production area? If you do, then you’ll know how difficult they can be to handle and how difficult they can be to slide onto the shafts, spigots and pipes that rely on them for sealing.

Well, good news from CPR Automation as a new product is added to its range of labour saving devices in the form of an O-ring feeder that is ideal for reducing labour costs, increasing assembly quality and eliminating the costly RSI problems usually associated with assembling O-rings to cylindrical products.

With a footprint around A5 paper size and needing only air to run the O-ring feeder from CPR is suitable for bench top mounting and can easily be carried by hand to wherever it’s needed The new O-ring feeder is a cinch to use – simply drop an O-ring into the machine, place the shaft/tube/pipe onto the holder and press the switch. The O-ring is then automatically expanded and pushed into position - no sore fingers, tired thumbs, lost parts or twisted O-rings!

Prices start at under £5,000 so it’s as easy on the wallet as it is on the fingers!!!

Semi-auto and fully automatic versions of the O-ring feeder are also available – ideal when you’re in a rush to fit the O-rings or you’ve got a lot to do.
